Wildlife viewing Day Tour
Spend the full day viewing polar bears and arctic wildlife along the coast of Hudson Bay!! This guided tour explores the 25km east of Churchill Canada – the polar bear capital of the world. Through the day, you may see polar bears, arctic fox, red fox, ptarmigan and other wildlife.
Departing your hotel or bnb at 8am, we search for wildlife for a full nine hours returning home at 5pm. Tour includes field lunch and trained polar bear safety guide. Transportation is via 4×4 trucks or 4×4 van – all modified for your safety and comfort.
Polar Bear Season Oct-Nov day tour rates:
• $395 CDN each for full day land based wildlife tour (includes on the road lunch).
• $250 CDN each for half day land based wildlife tour.
Summer day tour rates:
• $350 CDN each for full day land based wildlife tour (includes on the road lunch).
• $215 CDN each for half day land based wildlife tour.
• $ 200 CDN per person for zodiac beluga whale tour 2-4 hours. (Min. 4 people).

Guiding Services:
Our guides provide wildlife safety while chasing auroras on different locations each night.
During the night, we will be out for between 1.5 to 3 hours and we can go hiking in the boreal forest while looking for northern lights (conditions permitting). Hot chocolate and a snack are included during the night tour.
During the day, we will take you out for up to 3 hours to show you the town of Churchill and surroundings. Activities and visits may include:
Town tour and history: Museum, murals and art around Churchill, visiting the trading post, and key town locations.
Wrecks of Churchill tour: Miss Piggy & Ithaca (conditions permitting for the latter)
Scenic wildlife & landscape exploration day: Exploring the tundra looking for wildlife and the best landscapes and locations to photograph. Potential wildlife sightings of Ptarmigan, Arctic Fox, Arctic Hare, Red and cross foxes, Moose, Caribou and Snowy Owl. Also possible but more rare to be able to see are wolverines, wolves and weasels. All this, besides the beautiful subarctic landscapes of rime frost, the snow-covered coastline, the frozen shipwreck (Ithaca) and of course the stunning skies for sunrise, sunsets and moonlight over the Bay.
*Length of night or day tours can vary and are flexible to your needs. If you need to go grocery shopping or some kind of transportation to any specific place, we are happy to take you there too. Transport from and to the airport or train station on arrival and departure are included.
